I paid but I still cannot see the channels
Your membership is active but the server still looks locked and your name is not pink. Almost always this means your Discord account is not linked to your Whop account yet.
Your payment going through and your Discord getting access are two separate steps. Whop handles the billing, then it has to tell Discord who you are. If those two are not connected, you stay locked out even though you have paid.
Work through these in order. Most people are fixed by step 1.
1. Link your Discord to Whop
Go to your connected accounts on Whop and check whether a Discord account is listed.
- If nothing is listed, click Add Discord and authorise it.
- If a Discord account is listed, make sure it is the same account you are using in this server. A different account there is the second most common cause.
When it works, your name turns pink and the channels open up.
2. Claim your access
Go to your Poke Alerts membership and look for a Claim Access button. Click it.
3. Check the membership is under the email you think it is
Open your orders on Whop and confirm you can see an active Poke Alerts membership.
If you cannot see one, you are probably logged into a different Whop account than the one you paid with. This happens constantly with Apple Pay, which quietly uses your Apple email instead. See I paid with Apple Pay and you cannot find my membership.
4. Check your payment actually succeeded
Whop sends an invoice email even when a card is declined, so an email is not proof of payment. If the latest payment failed, your access is removed automatically. See My payment was declined and I lost access.
Still stuck?
Open a ticket in #📩・create-ticket and choose Subscription & Access. Have the email on your Whop account ready, it is the first thing we need.
