Link your Discord to Whop

Whop is where you pay. Discord is where you get the alerts. Linking the two turns your payment into access.

Do this in a browser, not the Whop app

The Whop mobile app has trouble connecting Discord accounts. If you have it installed, sign in to Whop in your phone's web browser or on a computer instead. This is the single most common fix, and it is worth doing first rather than last.

If the browser version still stalls on a phone, switch it to desktop mode.

Steps

1. Open your connected accounts on Whop.
2. Click Add Discord.
3. Authorize the request.
4. Check the account shown is the same Discord account you use in this server. If the wrong one is connected, click the red bin icon to remove it, then add the correct one.
5. Go to your Poke Alerts membership and click Claim Access.

Your name turns pink once it has worked, and the channels appear. If your name is still its normal color, the link has not completed, whatever the rest of the page says.

If the authorize screen reloads and nothing happens

Usually one of three things:

• You are using the Whop app. See above. Use a browser.
• Your Discord email is not verified. In Discord, go to Settings > Account, click your email address and send yourself a verification code. Then try again.
• You are signed into the wrong Discord in your browser. Sign out, or use Not me on the sign-in screen, then link again.

If it still loops, clear the cache for the browser that Whop is opening.

If you cannot find "Claim Access"

Go straight to your membership page and click Claim Access there. It does not always appear where you expect it on a phone.

If it says you have no active membership

Then the question is which Whop account you are signed into, not the link. Check your email inboxes for a welcome email from Whop, including the address attached to your Apple ID, because that tells you which account holds the membership.
