Your first ten minutes

Five steps. Doing them out of order is the most common reason a new member sees an almost empty server and assumes something is broken.

1. Link your Discord to Whop

Your subscription lives on Whop. Your access lives on Discord. They are joined by a link that does not always complete on its own, especially if you signed up on a phone.

Open your connected accounts on Whop and check Discord is listed. Until it is, you will see very little here no matter what you paid.

If you paid with Apple Pay, your receipt may show a privaterelay.appleid.com address rather than your real email. That is normal, and it is worth knowing before you open a ticket about a missing membership.

2. Pick your region

Go to #select-region and choose your region or regions. You can pick more than one if you buy across borders, and clicking again removes it.

Nothing else works until this is done. Your regional channels genuinely do not exist for you until a region is set, which is why the server can look empty on day one.

3. Pick your sets and stores

Once your region is set, your regional alert channel appears:

• United States: #pokemon-us
• Canada: #pokemon-ca
• Europe / UK: #pokemon-eu
• Australia: #pokemon-au

Each button adds a role, and clicking it again removes it. If you want everything, select everything. There is no single all alerts button, on purpose.

4. Fix your notification settings

Discord will not send you a mobile notification while Discord is open on your desktop. That one catches people out constantly, usually during the drop they most wanted.

5. Watch one drop before you chase one

The fastest way to learn the rhythm is to sit through a live drop without trying to buy. You will see which retailers give warning, how long stock actually lasts, and what a real alert looks like against the noise.

If you have done all five and the server still looks wrong, open a ticket in #create-ticket. Say which region you picked and which email is on your Whop account, and staff can check both sides in about a minute.
