The backup alerts server

There is a second Discord server, Poke Alerts (Backup), that carries alerts alongside this one.

Why join it

Discord itself has outages, and servers can be rate limited or disrupted. When that happens the alerts do not stop, but they may not reach you here. The backup server is a separate place for them to land.

Staff recommend joining it as a matter of course. It costs nothing, and the point of a backup is that you have already joined before you need it.

What to do once you are in

Set your notification settings there the same way you did here, otherwise it will sit silent and you will get no benefit from it on the day it matters. See Notification settings that actually work.

It does not replace your membership

The backup server carries alerts. It is not a way around subscribing, and your access there follows the same membership as here.
