Use the in-store stock checker
Check which physical stores near you have stock right now, using the slash command in the stock check channel.
The stock checker tells you which nearby stores show stock, so you are not driving around guessing. Use it in #instore-stock-check.
How to use it
Run the slash command with a store, a SKU and your postcode or zip:
/instore bestbuy sku: 6667282 zip: 78249
/instore walmart sku: 196214132474 zip: 73109
Supported retailers include Best Buy Dollar General, Walgreens, Academy Sports, Microcenter. SKU lists for each are in the catalog channels under Instore Stock Checks. Note: Best Buy has made changes to their API restricting access to stock checks. This affects all stock checkers not just ours.
Reading the results
- ๐ข means the store is showing stock.
- Counts come from each retailer's own inventory system. They can be wrong or stale, so treat them as a strong hint rather than a promise.
Common errors
"Product not found" means that SKU is not valid for that retailer. Every store uses its own numbers, so a Best Buy SKU will not work for Dollar General.
"No stock found" means the command worked and nothing is in stock near you right now.
